Logan the Puppy

I don't like dog food. I have gone through about 6 different kinds of dog food and don't like any of them. When I was little, I liked the food I guess. I gobbled it up in minutes flat. But now I am not happy with it and I cry and whine and push the bowl around with my nose. Mom and Dad REALLY do not like this. I even bark sometimes too just to prove my point. Did I mention Mom and Dad don't like this at all?

I don't know if I like people food...never had it.,..but it has to be better than dog food, right? Maybe if I whine and bark enough they will give in and I'll get the yummy food that they eat.

Mom and Dad are also not too happy that I ate my tire toy either. Ok so I didn't exactly eat it, I just mangled it into little pieces. It's not my fault I'm a "powerful chewer". I'm just a puppy I don't even know my own strength. Did I also mention that I prefer toys that squeak? Did I mention Mom and Dad don't like squeaking toys very much....especially when they are watching TV?

First I didn't like to walk...now I love it. Now I don't like to eat my dog food. Wonder what I can do next to show that I am the all-powerful-smarty-dog-of-all-times? If you have any suggestions, please feel free to write me at my fan club (aka Mom's email address).

Talk to you soon,

Life of a popular dog is a very ruff life. There are people to pet me, faces to lick, and things to eat and there just isn't enough time in the day to do it all and write in my blog. But I realize that I owe my adoring fans a quick update and more timely posts. So in the interest of catching you up on the activities of the last month, I'm going to bullet point it out for you. (I would do a power point presentation but Aunt Celeste was not available to help me put it together.)

  • I ate a dime. Mom and Dad aren't sure if it's come out the other end yet.
  • I am now 70 pounds and 9 months old.
  • I lost some of my baby fat and gained muscle....if I want I could pull Mom all over the neighborhood.
  • I went to the beach for the very first time. Surfers stopped and laughed at me....not sure why they know how much fun it is to roll in the sand and surf and be covered from head to toe in sand. It was pure joy, fun, and I can't wait to go back.
  • I stayed in a hotel for the first time. I liked it because the bed was lower than Mom and Dad's so I could get up on it very easily. (The parent's didn't like that so much.)
  • I enjoyed a romantic weekend for 3 for Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary. It was their party but I got most of the attention and most of the gifts. What can I say...I'm adorable.
  • I got to go along to restaurants with Mom and Dad. Most of the waiters loved me. They even brought me my own bowl of water...which I promptly knocked over.

That about sums it up. More to come I'm sure. There are just so many things to do and see that I can't wait to share them with you.

Until later my adoring fans,

Logan - the star of everyone's life
