We're home! We're home! We're home! We're home! We're home! We're home! And it's warm!

It was fun seeing Grandma and Grandpa but I'm happy that we are back home. I can now run around and just be me. I even can go outside without turning into a frozen puppy.

We had a great trip and I can't wait to see the Grandparents again soon!

It is really cold here. I am so ready for my California weather. My paws can't take much more. Thankfully we are leaving today. But Grandma and Grandpa aren't coming with us. I wish they would. I'm having so much fun with them. I've almost got them trained to do whatever I want just by giving them the puppy dog look. Man that look is golden!

So back in the car. Let me tell you...there is not much to do in a car. I'm bored silly. Luckily I'm like Mom and sleep when I'm bored. We stopped in Medford, OR on the way back. I got another treat at Arby's. They had dog treats right at the window. How cool is this state? Too bad it isn't warmer.

More scary stairs at this hotel. What is with people? Can't they just put a back on the stairs for me? Did I mention it's freezing here?

I love this place. Minus the cold. Man my paws almost fell off when I went outside to go to the bathroom. Dad let me know that I have now peed in 3 states. How cool is that!

Today is Thanksgiving. Mom and Grandma are cooking. There is a turkey and it smells really good. But I'm not allowed in the kitchen. Not sure why, I'm helpful after all.

I also got to meet friends of the Grandparents. They were really nice. They petted me too and told me how cute I was. Jim, Rita, and Karen were so much fun to be around. But I had to go take a nap while everyone ate.

I wish I could have spent more time with our guests. Do you know how many hearts I could have stolen? I would have been the most spoiled dog in history.

Logan - spoil me please

This morning we woke up and Mom, Dad, and I went for a walk. I thought it was just going to be around the block, but an hour later we finally end up back at the house. Oh I don't think I have mentioned this yet, but I have a great memory. I could pick out which hotel room was ours right away. And I could also tell which house was ours too. Mom said that I'm a typical guy because I can remember that but can't remember to drop the ball when we are playing fetch.

The walk was a lot of fun, Mom and I would run on the flat parts. And I'm doing much better learning to "heel". I even got to meet another puppy on the walk. I really like this place. It's a little cold, but really pretty.

So far I have been really good here. Mom and Dad even let me off the leash around the top floor of the house. Mom and Dad can't figure out why I'm so good here and not that good at our house. I'll let you in on a secret. This is Grandma and Grandpa's house. If I'm good, I'll get spoiled. Shhhh!

November 20, 2007 (later in the day)

We made it to Grandma and Grandpa's. They love me. They petted me. They are so nice. And their house is really big. (A little too big for my taste...I'm sticking close to Mom and Dad.) We finally got here and are settled in. Mom said that I had to be on my best behavior the whole time we are here. Guess we aren't staying long then....

I got to sniff the whole house. And once you get to know it, it's not quite as intimidating as I thought. I am still going to stay close to Mom and Dad, but maybe the Grandparents too. After all, I think I've got Grandpa under my puppy spell already. He thinks I'm great.

And Grandma, she's so cool. She let me lick up a pizza spot off of the carpet. You couldn't even tell it was there after I got done with it. And who says I can't help out around the house.

Today is Mom and Dad's 6th Anniversary of dating. I know because they kept giving each other kisses and not me. I mean I haven't been around for 6 years but I am the cutest dog ever so I think I should at least get kisses.

We didn't do much in Eugene but I did get dog treats at a gas station from a really nice person who pumped our gas. I wonder what else I'll get while I'm here.

Well we are about to leave for the Grandparents. We should be there today which is great because I am WAY tired of this car thing.

I woke up this morning and am starting to figure out what's going on now....ok it helped that I actually paid attention this time. We are in Redding, CA. It's a cute town and we are going to go explore this morning before heading off in the car again. This town can't be that bad because we went to Starbucks this morning. Any place with a Starbucks is a good place for me.

After coffee, we went to the Sundial Bridge. It is dog friendly and I got to go and explore why Mom took lots of pictures. Luckily, not that many of me. I'm getting kind of tired of being her model you know. Anyway, I got to go on trails and met other dogs and some people even petted me.

After the bridge we drove to some waterfalls. They were called the Burny Falls. They were nice I guess, but I'm not sure why dogs can't go on the trails. One dog owner ruins it for the rest of us you know. Mom took lots of pictures here too. And Dad and I explored where I was allowed to go, but it was kind of cold. Who knew California could be so cold.

After the falls we were on our way to Eugene, OR. A new state for me. On the way there we got to see Mt. Shasta. It was so pretty (at least that is what Mom said - I fell asleep again). We finally got to Eugene and stayed at a much nicer hotel this time. But they had scary steps that didn't have backs to them. I didn't want to go up them or down them. Dad had to carry me up the steps.

Now you might think I would be embarrassed that I didn't want to go up the steps. But when you are as small as I am and looking down those holes, let me tell you....It Ain't Fun!!!

Today Mom, Dad, and I left on a trip. At first I thought that we were going to Starbucks like we normally do. But after 45 minutes, I figured we weren't in Kansas anymore and decided to just lay down and go to sleep. Mom tried to explain that we were going to see Grandma and Grandpa Giedt. But I'm not sure how that's possible since they don't live that close.

Anyway, the hotel was lots of fun. The bed was low enough for me to jump onto it. That was so much fun until I got yelled at. I wonder how long we will stay here?

Logan - not sure where I am puppy
